- Show your quotation to the firm that wrote it, or to its competitors
- Contact your ID or contractor without your permission
- Add you to marketing lists without asking

Please only send what we need. You're welcome to cover up bank details, NRIC numbers or anything else that isn't relevant before sharing a document.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, arrange and hold your session
- To prepare your written summary, checklist or quotation review
- To confirm payment and keep the business records the law requires
- To follow up on your session, for example to ask for feedback (you can say no)
- To see which pages of our website are useful, so we can improve them
We don't use your information for anything else without asking you first.
Your quotations and documents
Quotations contain information about you and about the firms that wrote them. We treat them as confidential:
- Only the consultant advising you reads them
- We don't forward, publish or discuss them with anyone else, including the firm that issued them
- We don't collect prices from your quotation to build a database or to sell
- If we'd like to use an example in a guide or post, we'll ask you first and remove anything that could identify you, your home or the firm
Who else handles your data
We don't share your data with other businesses for their own use. We do rely on a few service providers to run the business, and they process data on our behalf:

Some of these providers may store data outside Singapore. We choose reputable providers and expect them to protect your data to a standard comparable to the PDPA. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it

How we protect it
- Devices are locked with a passcode, and accounts use two-step verification
- Documents are kept in private folders, not shared drives
- Paper notes are shredded once your summary is written
- We don't discuss your project in public or with other clients
If a data breach ever happens, we'll act quickly to contain it and notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission where the PDPA requires it.
Cookies
Our website uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits and taps on our buttons. They don't tell us who you are. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works fine without them.
Your choices
- Access: ask what personal data we hold about you and how it's been used
- Correction: ask us to fix anything that's wrong
- Deletion: ask us to delete your project files at any time
- Withdraw consent: tell us to stop using your data (we may then be unable to continue our service, and we'll explain what that means)
- Marketing: we only send promotional messages if you've agreed, and you can opt out at any time
We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete them within 30 days. We'll tell you if a request will take longer, or if the law requires us to keep something.
