Who we are
Renovation Consultant is led by a consultant with 20+ years in renovation and project management, across hundreds of homes: HDB flats (BTO and resale), condominiums and landed homes.
We started this service because we kept seeing the same problem: good people signing with an ID after a few meetings, without knowing what to check. Most costly renovation mistakes happen before the first wall is hacked, at the quotation and signing stage.

Some other services, such as online quotation checks, are also paid only by homeowners. What sets us apart is 90 minutes in person with an experienced consultant, covering your whole renovation, not only the price.
Our promises
The short version is below. Read all our promises, including how we're paid and the limits of our advice.
- No commissions. We receive no referral fees or kickbacks from any ID, contractor or supplier.
- Consulting only. We don't take on renovation work for anyone who books a consultation with us.
- No pushing IDs. We don't recommend specific firms. We show you how to check them yourself.
- Your documents stay private. Only your consultant reads them, and we never pass them to any firm.
- Sourced facts. Figures and cases we share come from official sources and news reports, and we name only people and firms that courts have ruled on.
How a session works
- WhatsApp us with your property type and when you plan to renovate. We reply within 24 hours.
- Confirm and pay. PayNow details are sent only after your date is confirmed.
- Meet in person, anywhere in Singapore, for 90 minutes. Up to 2 people. Sessions are in English.
- Get your written summary and ID question checklist within 3 days. See a sample.
